Make sure the audio device is plugged in correctly and also check the volume settings on the device. When I do plug it in, a notification does pop up saying that a device has been plugged in and my RealTek sound manager pops up to let me know that I have plugged in a device into the "mic in" and when I unplug it, it also notifies me. The microphone or audio device you are using is not working correctly. I also see the Recording Channel of Teams (with label 'Skype' :-) ) and it receives level.
In the Pulse Audio Volume Control I can see level for all microphones. In the device configuration I can select multiple microphones. The bars do not move when device is plugged in (as a matter of fact, through out all of the things that I have tried, the mic is always plugged in). Teams is complaining, that the microphone is not working. Device is enabled under properties in sound manager. now if i go into device manger an change the driver to a generic driver the mic an headset works just like a generic headset so the mic is working its just with the gsp driver the mic stops working even tho it saying its in use. I have configured speech recognition a million times. the headset plays sound just fine, its only when i wanna use the mic its not working. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled RealTek Hi Def Audio Driver and Hi Def Audio Device twice. Trouble shooting says that there is nothing out of the ordinary and everything is working fine.

Why can't you guys go more into detail about how to fix the issue.įor example, mic is fine and the whole headset is fine. I have had the same problem.all of the advice you are giving here are the same advice I see on every other forum.
